Cybersecurity is a must for manufacturers! Protecting connected devices is crucial. We sat down with the Dan Malyszko, Vice President at Malisko, to get his take on this topic.

The Crucial Role of Systems Integrators in Streamlining Industrial Automation

In today’s rapidly evolving industrial landscape, the demand for efficiency, productivity, and seamless automation has never been greater. Amidst the complex interplay of machinery, data, and processes, manufacturers seek a reliable partner to navigate the intricacies of system integration.

How We Approach Automation and Control Solutions

When we partner with your company, we aim to deliver tangible results. We recognize that no two production processes or plants are the same and that your company needs a unique automated production process that will operate smoothly.

We deliver the service you need, whether you’re starting from scratch, have some automation in place already or have already completed an Overall Engineering Education Excellence (OEEE) review. We’ll join in at any point and can provide services encompassing business justification, system design and system implementation.

Take a closer look at the steps in our process and how we can provide you with consistent production and tangible return on investment:

Site Assessment

The first step is understanding the challenges you face. We’ll start by conducting a site assessment, during which we talk to your operators, engineers, maintenance staff and other personnel to learn more about your process, business operations and problems. We’ll also learn what success looks like to you and will take the time to find the best ways to collaborate with your in-house team.

We follow a holistic process during each site assessment. We’ll identify existing automation controls, cost-saving solutions and opportunities. We’ll then create a business justification and present you with our automation solutions.

Front-End Engineering Design (FEED)

FEED lays the foundation for a successful project — one that’s completed on time and on budget and that works with your team. Our automation systems can change as your business needs evolve. We can also adjust the system to match your support team’s skill set.

After we complete FEED, we’ll provide you with a project budget and timelines and outlined business objectives.

Detailed Engineering and Design

Our detailed engineering and design service transforms a concept into a final product. During this phase, we use the information gathered during the site assessment and FEED to reduce risk, align our work with your reality and get you operational quickly.

At this point, we’ll review project risks and develop a plan to reduce them within a realistic timeline and budget.

Project Execution

At this point, we have what we need to bring your automated system to life. We’ll keep your business goals front and center as we program, outfit and install your system.

Validation

Computer System Validation (CVS) is a must if your company is in an FDA-regulated industry. We’ll design a system that meets the FDA’s CSV requirements. We’ll also manage the CSV paperwork and provide a Validation Master Plan.

Post Project Support

We provide an entire team to support you, so we’re here if you have any issues after your automation system is up and running. Our professionals are on call 24/7 to address your support needs.
