RYAN BERTRAM

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent." -Calvin Coolidge

After a 12 year-old Ryan visited the Corvette factory in Bowling Green, Kentucky, he knew he wanted to part of how America makes things. With continued interest in the art and science of manufacturing, Ryan pursued his Bachelors in International Business at Calvin College. After graduating, he realized his dream of working with manufacturing by holding client relations positions throughout the manufacturing industry. At Malisko, Ryan enjoys bringing together the right people for the right job to tackle complex projects, and helping to bring the total solution to the client's plant floor.

Personal Passion
He likes spending time with his family and helping his children to blaze their own trail.

Dream Job
Build houses for Habitat for Humanity

Interesting Fact
He secretly likes the handy-man "fix-it" list his wife gives him every weekend. (Shhh! don't tell her that though!)

OUR APPROACH

DETAILED ENGINEERING DESIGN

In our detailed engineering and design service, we transform the conceptual into the final design. We provide you with the drawings, documentation, and specifications it takes to implement process automation at your plant. And we use all the knowledge we gain from the automation solutions site assessment and Front End Engineering Design (FEED) to minimize your risk, get you running quickly, and align our work with your business realities.

With our variety of drawings and documentation packages, you’ll see how our work-flow allows us to keep projects moving along various stages of project planning and execution. When engineering challenges arise, we attack them from all angles until we have them solved, and we make it easy for you to collaborate throughout the project. We focus on the details so you don’t have to.

Malisko both designs your automation system and implements it. Our detailed engineering and design service picks up right after our FEED services leave off, and our system integration execution pick up right after our detailed engineering and design. We can handle the complete package: specification, design, procurement, development, on-site execution, troubleshooting and support of the control, network, security and MES layers.

In the documentation development process, we nail down the specific project deliverables assigned to each party. We show you how your automation system will operate at each step in its cycle, and quantify your system’s equipment and performance specifications. Then, we provide your Team Members the detailed information they need in order to understand, operate, maintain and support every part of your system.

  • Hardware & Software Specification

    HARDWARE & SOFTWARE SPECIFICATION

For each specific process and work cell that we automate, we can choose from a variety of platforms suited for manufacturing automation. And often, several of the options out there will work. The important consideration is to use automation products that integrate well together, but also align best with your goals, budget and personnel. That’s why we make these decisions in total collaboration with you.

  • Industrial IT Infrastructure

    INDUSTRIAL IT INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN
