“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent." -Calvin Coolidge

Digitization is the use of digital technologies to change a business process and provide new revenue and value-producing opportunities. Relative to manufacturing, digitization is largely focused around efficient access to actionable intelligence from shop floor processing lines and equipment. Delivering relevant information content when it is needed and where it is needed aids in making real-time decisions, directly impacting the bottom line. Digitization is changing how manufacturers operate: Spawning new innovations, reshaping customer expectations, fostering new efficiencies.

Cisco Integrator Partner, Malisko Engineering

Malisko Engineering is a Cisco Digital Solution Integrator (DSI) partner. Our domain expertise delivering plant floor automation systems has evolved to include a major focus on digitization and developing competency to navigate higher up in the enterprise stack. While we do not focus specifically on enterprise IT infrastructure, we help drive new digital conversations among IT and OT personnel by providing the plant floor automation perspective. Our sound understanding of the unique attributes of manufacturing applications coupled with our dedication to deploying Cisco Validated Designs (CVDs) helps us provide differentiated value to our customers driving IT and OT convergence and digital transformation.

As a Cisco DSI partner, we aim to become a trusted advisor to our customers through:

    • – Individual customer workshops

    • – Network/Security assessments

    • – Proof-of-concept engagements

At Malisko Engineering, we leverage our strong partnerships with OEMs, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), value-added resellers (VARs), and distributors to provide our customers with comprehensive digital solutions. We help orchestrate joint consultation to synchronize Cisco’s offerings with our industry-specific plant floor automation platforms. And while we are a Cisco reseller, we find more transformative and impactful consulting when we team with other traditional enterprise VARs to provide our customers with equal IT and OT focus. The powerful combination of Cisco’s well-respected brand and the Cisco partner ecosystem bring digital transformation to life.
